Collins & Co Christmas Party 2015

- 27 November 2015
Collins & Co recently celebrated the 2015 year and the upcoming Christmas season, where we reflected up on the changes the year has brought and thanked our clients for their continued support.
With a month still to go, 2015 has seen a number of changes nationally and internationally, including The Melbourne Cup being won by the first ever female jockey and another Prime Minister for Australia in Malcolm Turnbull.
Collins & Co has also continued to adapt to the changing business environment and client’s needs. We have continued to expand our services, expertise and staff numbers, in areas such as superannuation, audit, held our first conference for the not for profit sector and enhanced our specialist tax advice capabilities for both individuals and businesses with the addition of Carmen Vassallo, who joined us as Special Tax Counsel.
Our social media feeds via LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter are providing our clients with immediate and up to date information and general advice and our own Collins & Co blog will be introduced shortly.
Collins Co Wealth Management, working in conjunction with our Financial Planning division, has allowed us to provide advice on, and management of, an expanded range of special investment products that have better suited a number of our client’s needs.
In keeping with the sixty plus year history of Collins & Co, the night was held at the Fox Classic Car Museum in the historic Queens Warehouse at Docklands. This 15 million dollar collection of prestige cars features the largest collection of Mercedes Benz cars in the Southern Hemisphere, high-performance Ferraris and Porsches, the Sir Henry Royce Foundation Gallery (one of only three in the world) and classic vehicles owned by celebrities such as Elvis Presley, Pablo Picasso and James Dean. We were also privileged to have on hand Brian Tanti, the curator and head of restoration for the museum, to answer all the questions we had about the vehicles.
It was certainly a memorable evening and Collins & Co thank our clients again for their support and wish everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
